A little more information about
Roberson Brothers Waterfowl Guide Service:

It's easy to tell you what Roberson Brothers Guide Service offers and how well they do it, but we figured it would mean a little more if you heard what other people have to say about their experience with Terry and Randy.

"Thirty years ago, my good friend Buddy Roberson invited me to join him and his sons for a goose hunt near Ridgely, Tennessee. I was a novice at goose hunting, so I was thrilled to learn at the feet of the master and his tow young sons who had also mastered the art and science of goose and duck hunting. For the next decade, I was privileged to spend time near Ridgely and Reelfoot Lake with these good friends and gentlemen who respected the environment and the waterfowl that responded to their hard work and expert calling and decoying. As the duck migration shifted a bit and the Canada geese stayed further north or adopted golf course, the Roberson family also migrated further north (so did I) around Phillippy, Tennessee next to one of the refuges. As usual, their hard work and investment in the land offered a wonderful return on that investment as the ducks followed the Roberson family's tradtion of superb duck hunting. I have hunted on short-sleeve balmy days to day when the temperature dipped below 0 degrees (they have a system that keeps the water open no matter how cold it gets!).
My friends and their children from all corners of the US have enjoyed some of the finest hunting, country cooking (in the blind!) and fellowship an outdoors person could ever hope to experience. Terry and Randy Roberson have assumed the leadership of the Roberson family waterfowling tradition, and I can attest to the fact that they are honest, hard-working, ethical sportsmen who will strive to assure one an adventure to remember.

"As a wetlands biologist and waterfowl manager for many years, it is no surprise that the Roberson's waterfowl blind at Phillippy is a destination for migrating waterfowl. Imagine a sizeable crop field beffered by bottomland trees, timely water, and little if any interference from neighboring hunters. And at least one side is bound by a state waterfowl refuge! The juxtaposition of the blind in the MIssissippi Flyway is about as good as it gets -- right between the Mississippi River and Reelfoot Lake. Personally, I can't think of a waterfowl hunting area more ideally suited for a variety and quality of waterfowl of hunting -- or finer folks to hunt with, for that matter-- in West Tennessee."

"When I talk about my favorite duck hunting experience, I'm talking about hunting with the Robersons at Phillippy. The Robersons are a family of honesty and integrity with a zeal for duck hunting. If you study the location of their hunting sites, you'll also understand why the ducks like to visit them."
